Digital Technical Architect

Job Description

Digital Technical Architect required for hybrid role on an exciting Central Government department project.  

Your role: 

  • Supporting development team making informed choice around what they develop / tools / technologies / products being built fit into wider team architecture

  • Working with other product teams to work through overall solutions architecture own solution architecture for product team for whole life cycle 

  • Support business achievement

 
You'll need:

  • Experience of application and integration architecture, frameworks, architectural standards

  • Experience of architectural principles underpinning the following: microservices, 12 factor apps, Event Driven, zero trust, bounded contexts

  • Knowledge of software: development, methodologies, frameworks, supporting tools, common libraries, modern testing methods / tools

  • Excellent communicator, experience of being a technical lead with an Agile team, architectural documentation for governance, design and stakeholder management


Awareness of all of the following:

Public Cloud technologies, DevOps delivery methodologies, accessibility, CDDO Service Standards, API Gateways, Data Architecture, Networking (gateways, routing, firewalls, DNS, IP, inspection), Security Concepts (Identity Proofing, Authentication, Automation, credentials, DMZ, threat modelling, DDoS), Security Controls (firewalls, WAF, certificates, pki, CVM, PEN Testing, least privilege, audit and monitoring)
