The DevOps Engineer is a highly skilled technical role responsible for implementing and supporting infrastructure tooling solutions.

You'll have a large degree of autonomy and be able to make informed technical decisions relating to supported tooling in the context of live service commitments and service level agreements.

In addition to BAU activities, the DevOps Engineer is able to provide knowledge transfer and upskilling activities with the customer and its project teams. You will be making key decisions around the appropriate course of action which requires strong understanding of the environment and DevOps processes. You will be expected to provide technical guidance and support to any appropriate teams within the environment as required and will have an understanding of the technologies in use elsewhere in the delivery area.

Your Skills:

• Must have an active SC clearance used within the last 12 months.

• Perform install, Config, CDMS management.

• Tech stack - Red hat fuse, Java for Dev, operating system is UBUNTU but may move to rel8

• Familiarity working within an environment where the customer manages their own open stack environment (simulating own cloud)

• Fairly infrastructure focused
