We're hiring an expert Sharepoint Developer for an important central Government department.
Your responsibilities:
Conducting detailed design of technical solutions
Building SharePoint 2019 site templates from wireframes.
Deployment of 3rd party web parts and development of a site provisioning engine using PowerShell.
Problem solving and providing technical resolution
Producing technical implementation plans from requirements and design documentation
Producing documentation including Low level Designs, Deployment Guides, Work Instructions, Knowledge Articles and Implementation Plans
Conducting peer review of work of other team members
Collaboration activities with other members of the Architecture, Design & Delivery team to support fulfilment of customer requirements
Experience:
Significant expert experience (minimum 2-5 years) implementing and supporting IT solutions based on Microsoft SharePoint Server with exposure to Microsoft SharePoint Server 2019, on non-internet-connected secure systems in a UK Defence setting, with significant understanding and experience of associated technical and security policy.
Significant expert experience (minimum 3-5 years) implementing and supporting PowerShell, PowerShell Cmdlets, Functions and Modules, JavaScript, CSS, HTML and HTML 5 scripts on non-internet-connected secure systems
Development experience in SPFx, REACT and TypeScript to develop modern webparts.
Experience of developing PowerShell scripts using the SharePoint PnP Framework and XML templates for site configuration.
Experience of development tools such as Yeoman and NodeJS.
Experience of build and package tools such as Gulp and Webpack.
Experience of administrating SharePoint 2019.
Experience of migrating SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2019 using tools such as Metalogix.
Experience of implementing and supporting IT solutions based on SharePoint 2010, 2013 or 2016.
Knowledge or experience of using code repository such as Git.
Experience of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Experience of working in an ITIL environment
Able to produce a high standard of technical and instructional documentation, such as Low Level Designs, implementation plans and support documentation.
