Senior Product Manager

75k - 80k
Greater Dusseldorf Area

Do you want the chance to lead projects that affect millions of people globally every single day? If so, this could be the role for you! A global leader in their sector is looking for a Senior Product Manager to work on their core product....

What you’ll do:

  • Take responsibility for the whole life cycle of your initiatives: from ideation and research, to driving development and analyzing performance for future optimization.

  • Develop a great understanding of our business, users and technology.

  • Find, define and validate business opportunities and user problems worth solving.

  • Build test plans and, for successful tests, manage the production implementation.

  • Put together the teams you need and lead them to success. Depending on your projects (or your style of work), this can be just you and one developer or large cross-functional team involving experts in user research, business analytics, UX and designers, frontend developers and quality engineers.

  • Ensure that your initiatives are in line with their strategy and priorities and you'll also help shape them.

  • Many of us like varieties of Scrum and Kanban, lean development methods, rapid assumption testing and dual track agile discovery and delivery. But regardless of the buzzwords, we expect you to work in the style that works best for you and your team. We will give you the context, the support and resources you need, but then won't get in the way of you working on delivering great results for our users.

What you’ll definitely need:

  • 5+ years' experience working as a product manager for a digital mass-market product ( >500k daily users).

  • You have experience building or evolving mobile apps or mobile app experiences on iOS, Android or both.

  • Proactive attitude: You find and evaluate problems to solve, rather than documenting stakeholder requirements.

  • Great leadership skills. You have to know what it is that you want to achieve, can inspire others to follow your vision and have the drive to push your ideas through to execution.

  • Extensive experience in AB Testing, lean experimentation and in understanding user needs using a variety of quantitative and qualitative methods.

  • To speak fluent English (our company language).

What we’d love you to have:

An educational background in Business, Mathematics, Social or Natural sciences or a similar, relevant field.
Experience at a top-tier global consumer internet company.

What you can expect:

  • Growth: through support for personal and professional development, constant new challenges, regular peer-feedback, mentorship and world-class training.

  • Autonomy: Every talent has the ability to make an impact independently by driving topics thanks to our strong entrepreneurial mindset, our horizontal workflow and self-determined working hours.

  • International environment: Our agile, international culture and environment with talents from 50+ nations encourages mutual trust and creates a safe space to discuss openly and act freely.

  • Collaborative spaces: Our state-of-the-art campus in Düsseldorf offers interactive spaces where we can easily collaborate, exchange ideas, take a break and workout together.

  • Relocation: We offer our international talents support with relocation costs, work permit and visa questions, free language classes, flat search and insurance.
