Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the product vision and strategy in alignment with GDS principles and transformation goals.
- Collaborate with User Researchers, Content Designers, Interaction Designers, and other stakeholders to ensure products meet user needs.
- Develop and maintain the product backlog, prioritizing features based on user feedback, business goals, and technical feasibility.
- Conduct market research and user testing to inform product decisions and iterate on product designs.
- Communicate product roadmaps and updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the development process.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, to promote team collaboration and efficiency.
- Ensure products are compliant with GDS Service Standards and governance frameworks.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in a central government setting.
- Strong knowledge of GDS Service Standards and principles of user-centered design.
- Experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams within large transformation programmes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret user feedback and market data to inform product decisions.
- Experience in developing product roadmaps and managing backlogs effectively.
