You will work closely with technical teams, service owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable outputs to support change delivery. A strong understanding of agile working in central government environments and familiarity with GDS principles will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, document, and analyse business requirements from a range of stakeholders.
- Lead workshops and stakeholder engagement activities to define and refine needs.
- Support the design and/or transformation of BMC Remedy configurations to meet business objectives.
- Collaborate with developers and technical teams to ensure accurate translation of requirements into system changes.
- Produce high-quality documentation including process maps, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure alignment with existing business architecture and service design frameworks.
- Work within agile delivery teams, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within UK central government projects.
- Strong track record of working on projects involving BMC Remedy – either designing new solutions or improving existing configurations.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
- Understanding of GDS (Government Digital Service) standards and principles is highly desirable.
