You will work closely with delivery teams, developers and external suppliers, contributing to both manual and automated testing across functional, integration and data-focused test stages, operating within an Agile delivery framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, write and execute functional system tests aligned
- Contribute to and maintain test automation frameworks (e.g. BDD, API-based testing, Python)
- Perform integration testing across internal and external systems
- Validate data across data warehouses, data marts and data migration activities
- Define and document Test Approaches, Test Plans and Test Completion Reports
- Work with CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and delivery
- Coordinate testing activities with external teams and suppliers
- Log, manage and track defects using Jira and test management tools
- Participate fully in Agile ceremonies and collaborative delivery practices
Required Skills & Experience:
- SC Eligibility
- ISTQB Software Testing Foundation Certification
- Proven experience in Functional System Testing (writing and executing test cases)
- Experience working with Test Automation (e.g. BDD frameworks, API frameworks, Python)
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitLab, Jenkins)
- Strong experience testing Data Warehouses, Data Marts and Data Migration solutions
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Oracle or other databases
- ETL testing experience
- AWS experience
- Experience producing Test Approaches and Test Completion Reports
- Proficiency with Jira and Test Management tools (e.g. Jira Zephyr Scale)
- Experience coordinating testing with external delivery teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong experience in Integration Testing
- Experience working within Agile methodologies
