Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver the migration from old SAS Viya to new SAS Viya
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines within the new SAS Viya platform
- Refactor and modernise existing SAS Viya processes to align with the new environment
- Work collaboratively within Agile delivery teams (Scrum/Kanban)
- Ensure data quality, performance, resilience, and security standards are met
- Contribute to technical design, documentation, and continuous improvement
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience as a Data Engineer using SAS Viya
- Proven experience migrating old SAS Viya to new SAS Viya
- Solid understanding of data engineering best practices
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable Experience:
- Central Government experience preferred
- Experience working in secure or highly regulated environments
