Working within agile, multidisciplinary teams, you’ll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to drive user-centred design at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead user research across discovery, alpha and beta phases
- Apply a mix of qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Translate findings into actionable insights (personas, journeys, recommendations)
- Influence product and service decisions within agile teams
- Present research insights to senior stakeholders
- Champion inclusive, accessible research aligned to GDS standards
Essential Experience:
- Strong experience as a Senior User Researcher within UK central government
- Solid understanding of GDS standards and user-centred design principles
- Experience working in agile delivery teams on complex services
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to deliver impactful research at pace
