Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications.
- Deploy applications to containerised environments using Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using GitLab for CI/CD pipelines.
- Work with relational databases (SQL and Oracle) for data management.
- Build and enhance user interfaces using React and JavaScript.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage tasks via Jira and documentation in Confluence.
- Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards for government systems.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- You must hold active SC clearance prior to starting.
- Strong proficiency in Java development.
- Hands-on experience with containerisation and Kubernetes deployments.
- Familiarity with GitLab for version control and CI/CD.
- Solid understanding of SQL and Oracle databases.
- Front-end development experience with React and JavaScript.
- Working knowledge of Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Ability to work in a secure environment and maintain confidentiality.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience in government or public sector projects.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
