What You Will Do:
- Build and refine API integrations using Apache Camel and Java 17
- Translate WSO2 flows into modern performant Camel routes
- Develop services using Quarkus or Spring Boot
- Produce automated tests using JUnit Jupiter and WireMock
- Work with Maven GitLab CI Docker and Postman
- Collaborate with Tech Leads Architects and BAs to deliver high quality code
- Use AI tooling including GPT accelerators to enhance documentation testing and analysis
- Contribute to continuous improvement around quality performance and engineering practice
Essential Skills:
- Strong experience with Apache Camel EIPs and routing
- Proven Java 17 engineering experience
- Skilled with Quarkus or Spring Boot microservice patterns
- Proficient in API testing with JUnit WireMock and Postman
- Confident with CI/CD including GitLab CI Maven and Docker
- Strong debugging analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment
Desirable:
- Python scripting
- Experience writing OpenAPI specifications
- Familiarity with WSO2 API Manager
- Understanding of ArgoCD or GitOps approaches
- Experience using GPT or AI tools for accelerating development and documentation
- CI/CD optimisation shell scripting and proactive technical research
