    We are looking for an experienced Mainframe DBA with Active SC Clearance to join our client, a central government/public sector organization, on a mainly remote working contract basis for a duration of 3-6 months initially.  The contract will start in January 2024. As a Senior Mainframe DBA, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of production databases. Your responsibilities include query handling, system setup, security enforcement, monitoring, and recovery planning. You'll provide elevated support for IBM DB2, collaborating with diverse teams and fellow DBAs.Responsibilities:Collaborate with Development, Operations, and tech teams on projects. Maintain peak performance and availability of systems and SQL. Develop and adhere to standards and plans. Guide the team in implementing optimal database practices.
