Are you a skilled Java Developer? We're looking for a talented individual to join a Central Government department and play a pivotal role in developing APIs, maintaining software standards, and ensuring seamless integration of systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop APIs to meet project requirements

• Ensure adherence to software standards throughout the development lifecycle

• Complete unit and integration tests to guarantee robustness and reliability

• Create descriptive merge requests to facilitate efficient collaboration

• Deploy APIs to test environments and conduct thorough testing

• Provide support to Quality Engineers during testing phases

• Continuously upskill in new technologies as needed

• Mentor junior team members and newcomers to the team

• Participate actively in SIT+ deployments

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Java 8 or higher

• Experience with Apache Camel, Spring Boot, JUnit, and Git

• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira & Confluence), Jenkins or Gitlab pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm

• Knowledge in Sync/Async/SFT
