Interesting contract opportunity for a DevOps Engineer from a software engineering background.  Azure is the cloud choice and you will also be comfortable with Python, Terraform and Docker.

Skills required: 

• DevOps expertise – GitHub, GitHub Actions, CICD, move systems to production, monitoring, git in general.

• Azure infra knowhow - fundamental services like networks, security groups, VMs but also app-service, cosmos, service-bus, keyvault, firewall, etc.

• Docker – build images, deploy them, etc.

• Not required but python coding abilities would be beneficial as part of the system is written in python

• Experience in Terraform, Azure and Python essential, Docker would be preferred

• Go to person – help the team and take ownership of infrastructure pipeline

• Working to cloud native, scripting and re-engineer to cloud

• Devops pipelines and deploy
