We are looking for an SEO Researcher to support the Technical SEO team on a fixed-term contract at a Private Sector company. The role will be focused on researching categories to understand the opportunities for site growth that will drive SEO performance.

The role is suitable for a reliable, structured and methodical person with good operational experience of Spreadsheets. SEO understanding is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Analysis and Evaluation of large sets of data (Human Judgment)

• Category and Keyword Research

• Development of expertise in researched areas

• Competitor Research

• Analysis of patterns and user search behaviour

• Documentation of optimisation patterns and changes

• Development of an overarching rulebook

 
Requirements:

• High level of proficiency in Excel and Google Spreadsheets

• Previous experience in Project management

• Self-motivated working

• Ability to make decisions

• Attention to detail

• Good logical thinking

• Minimum 1 year of SEO experience

• Experience with crawling tools of an advantage (Screaming Frog etc)

• Experience with Google Ads and other keyword tools is an advantage

• Experience with SQL is an advantage

• High level of spoken and written English

• Team player with a structured and reliable way of working
